Kirstie Kraus - Lead Vocals

Kirstie Kraus

Kirstie knew she wanted to be in a band from the time she was 4 and had to be dragged off the stage belting her rendition of "Achy Breaky Heart" during a break. After her elementary music teacher told her mom that Kirstie could sing in 1st grade, she got involved in community theatre, professional theatre and sang wherever she could. She put together a CD when she was 12 which included original songs and gave her valuable studio experience. She sang many National Anthems at high school events, dedications, semi-pro baseball, amateur hockey, UWGB college basketball games, a Packer shareholders meeting and the Brewers. In high school Kirstie started a band called "Mahogany Ridge". They were together about 2 years and gigs included the Harmony Café and Rock County Fair. Also, during high school Kirstie became involved in NSAI, a Nashville songwriting group. She made two summer tours to Nashville and co-wrote numerous songs with other members. While in Nashville her song was chosen 2 years in a row to get a demo produced and Kirstie provided the vocals. Now in college all of her hard work has finally paid off and landed her in this country band where her true passion lies. Her previous experience brings a new perspective from a female point of view as they expand their horizons. Kirstie's stage presence and strong vocals have added a new twist to the formally all "boy" band!

Kelly Boelter - Keys/Vocals

Birthday: December 13th …I'm over 21
Hometown: Madison, WI
Current Residence: Janesville WI
Former bands: Rock Candy, Surreal, Evolution
Influences: Lots! I've never really had a 'favorite' band or artist; I've been exposed to all kinds of music and I appreciate it all! I feel I've been influenced mostly by classical, pop, rock and country music. Favorite Artists: Again, lots, but I suppose I listen to strong female vocals mainly. I have always been surrounded by music, including singing and dancing in high school show choir, playing piano, violin, cello, and my newest venture; attempting to learn to play guitar! I'm definitely new to the "band scene", but I know I enjoy a good crowd and the energy that comes from them!

Dana Ostrom - Vocals, Guitar

Dana started his musical career on the drums at the age of seven. However his instructor didn't realize that Dana was a lefty, and drumming proved to be more frustrating than fun. Dana quickly moved to guitar; converting any right-handed guitar he could find until finding his first left-handed Stratocaster that he still owns and plays to this day. Now, after more than 30 years, his resume includes playing with such bands as Midlife Crisis and Legend. Dana's vocal style has been compared to the likes of Dwight Yoakam and Ronnie Dunn (Brooks & Dunn)..

Lance Hanson - Lead Guitar

Lance is a well known veteran of the music scene. He has established himself as a formidable player and writer developing interest both regionally and nationally in his performing and studio work

Chad "Animal" Helmer - Drums

Chad has been playing and studying the drums for the past 31 years, starting when his father Jerry Dean bought him his first drum set featuring 'Animal' from the Muppets. His style provides the foundation that the band's "feel" is formed around. Being a child of the big hair 80's he was influenced by the heavy drumming of that genre and still maintains a piece of that influence today. Chad has played in bands such as Skywalker with Jimmy Odom, and Shatterday, both in Northern Illinois.

Will Martin - Bass/Vocals

Birthday: December 29th …I'm over 21
Hometown: Pittsburgh Pennsylvania (Black and Gold)
Current Residence: Janesville WI
Former bands: Rock Candy, Anatomy, Surreal, Librium, Evolution
Influences: Ace Frehley (KISS), Neal Schon (Journey), Slash (Guns and Roses), Prince
Favorite Artists: Van Halen, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Ac/Dc, and many more!
I have always wanted to be part of a band that just rocked, but with a twist… GOOD MUSIC We all have our favorite obscure songs, but it's almost impossible to get a crowd of people to enjoy all the same rare jams'. Part of being in a country band; is playing popular music! I have found five other people that have the same goals they want to make people have fun, dance, sing along, and let loose like they were at a concert of their favorite artist! Now you can take me to that show anytime!! Peace and thanks for the read: Will T.T.
